 Paradise holidays introduce its first Luxury houseboat with upper deck. The inauguration function was held at Alleppey finishing point on 30th March 2010. This specially designed houseboat focuses on couples who want to have a romantic experience in the back waters of Alleppey. The rooms will be decorated with flowers and will be arranging wedding cake and candle light dinner which will be a memorable experience for your life time.

Kerala houseboats
Kerala houseboats are a reworked model of kettuvallams (which means a boat tied with ropes). These Kettuvallams are huge, slow moving exotic barges used for leisure trips. These boats were used to carry rice and spices in olden days and were a convenient means of transport. A typical house boat is about 70feet long and 15feet wide. The hull is made of Anjili wooden planks held together and the roof is of bamboo poles and palm leaves. House boats are of deluxe categories to super luxury categories depends on the amenities provided and are of one, two, three, and four bedded house boats. There are houseboats which has seating capacity of 150 where you can organize conferences in these floating resorts.
Paradise holidays take bookings of any type of house boat and will arrange cruise along the lake for 2hrs short trip to 21hrs full day trips. All food will be given in the house boat which will be prepared for you in the house boats. For romantic honeymoon packages rooms will be decorated with flowers and provide wedding cake, candle light dinner, fruit basket etc.
In the houseboat you will be greeted with welcome drink, tea, snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner and breakfast for 21hrs cruise
