Strobilanthes Kunthianus, known as Neelakurinji or Kurinji in local linguistics, is a shrub found in the tropical montane forests (Nilgiri Hills) of the Western Ghats in South India. In the Malayalam language, the name Neelakurinji means \u201cblue flowers\u201d.
