Bengaluru Palace
Our journey began at Bengaluru Palace, a magnificent example of royal architecture. Surrounded by lush greenery, the palace showcases intricate carvings, beautiful paintings, and royal artifacts. The Durbar Hall, with its chandeliers and stained-glass windows, captures the city’s regal heritage. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves history and culture.
Vidhana Soudha
Next, we visited Vidhana Soudha, one of Bengaluru’s most iconic landmarks. This grand building houses the Karnataka Legislative Assembly and is admired for its Neo-Dravidian architecture. Walking through its marble corridors and high ceilings was like stepping into a different era. It’s one of those places where you truly feel the pride of Karnataka’s governance and design excellence.
🧠 Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technical Museum
Named after Sir M. Visvesvaraya, this museum is a paradise for science enthusiasts. It showcases India’s journey through technology — from early machines to modern innovations in space and robotics. The interactive exhibits and the Dinosaur Corner made it a fun experience for both kids and adults.

🐯 Bannerghatta National Park
Located on the outskirts of Bengaluru, Bannerghatta National Park is the perfect destination for wildlife lovers. The safari through the park offered us close views of tigers, lions, elephants, and bears. The park also has a zoo, a rescue center, and a butterfly enclosure that showcases the region’s biodiversity.
The sound of birds and the green surroundings make this an ideal escape from the city rush.

Within the Bannerghatta National Park lies the Butterfly Park, one of the first in India. The conservatory houses hundreds of butterfly species fluttering in vibrant colors. Watching them dance among the flowers was a peaceful and magical experience. It’s a great reminder of how nature adds life to every corner of Bengaluru.
🍛 Food and Shopping in Bengaluru
Bengaluru’s food scene is another highlight. The city is famous for its South Indian delicacies like idli, dosa, vada, and sambar. Don’t miss the chance to try local street food or dine at heritage restaurants.
For shopping lovers, Commercial Street is a must-visit. From trendy clothes to handcrafted souvenirs, it’s one of the best places to experience Bengaluru’s lively atmosphere.
