Chinese Fishing Net

Chinese fishing nets (Cheena vala) are a type of static lift net in India. They are fishing nets that are fixed land installations for fishing. This way of fishing is unusual in India and almost unique to the area. Chinese explorers who landed there in the 14th century launched it. The Chinese fishing nets are a top-rated tourist attraction. Their size and graceful construction are photogenic, and the slow pattern of their operation is quite soothing. Your catches can be purchased individually, and they will cook it for you.


The Paradesi Synagogue is the oldest and active  Synagogue in the Common wealth of Nations, located in Kochi, Kerala, in South India.This Synagogue, built-in 1568 attracts numerous visitors to this day. It adds to the area's picturesque charm and is an excellent symbol of the love and harmony that exists in the community. Once you enter the divine halls, a person became enthralled with the rare antiques displayed. The chandeliers and lamps glitter alongside. The natural sunlight flows in through its large windows. These glass chandeliers imported from Belgium. The Synagogue is open every day except Fridays, Saturdays and Jewish holidays. Timings: Forenoon - 10 am to 12 noon; Afternoon - 3 pm to 5 pm. Visitors expected to enter the Synagogue barefoot

St. Francis Church

Saint Francis Church, in Fort Kochi (Fort Cochin), Kochi, originally built in 1503. It was one of the oldest European churches in India. And was a silent witness to the European colonial struggle in the subcontinent. The church became a protected monument in 1923 under the Protected Monuments Act of 1904. Besides having no architectural significance, it has been the model of several Indian churches. The original gravestone of Vasco De Gama and this makes it worth visiting.

Mattanchery Palace

Mattancherry attracts tourists from all corners of the world with its markets, religious sites, hotels with rare cuisine and cultural landmarks. Each trader or visitors who visited this place had left a unique mark on this beautiful destination—tourists who visit this place welcomed with surprises at each turn. The Mattancherry Palace located about 12 km from Ernakulam. The Portuguese built it as a gift to King Veera Kerala Verma and has a  Kerala style of architecture mixed with colonial influences. It came to be known as the Dutch Palace as it underwent major repairs at the hands of the Dutch. It is among the most popular tourist destinations in the Fort Kochi area.

Jain Temple

The Jain Temple dedicated to Shri Dharmanath and is a prominent religious institution in Mattancherry. The temple complex spread over a large area with various blocks constructed for prayers and offerings. The architecture of the temple takes its inspiration from the Jain temples of Gujarat.

Chottanikara Bhagavathy Temple

It is the most important temple among the 393 holy places spread over 3 Districts of Kerala. This temple comes under the administration of Cochin Devaswom Board. The Divine Mother known as Rajarajeswari (Adiparasakthi) is worshipped here in three forms Saraswathy in the morning, Lakshmi at noon and Durga in the evening. There is an Idol of Mahavishnu on the same pedestal, and so the Deity is called Ammenarayana, Devinarayana, Lakshminarayana and Bhadrenarayana also. Along with Lakshmi & Narayana, there are idols of Brahma, Siva, Ganapathi (Ganesh), Subramanya and Sastha on the same pedestal. 

Marine Drive

Marine is a beautiful and scenic walkway in Kochi which faces towards the backwaters of Kochi. It's one of the famous must-visit places for tourists. It's 140 m walkway that stretches from the Jankar Jetty (north) to the Ernakulam Boat Jetty (South). Marine Drive situated along the edge of backwaters that begins behind the Children's Park ending at the Shanmugham Road. The various shopping malls and fast food joints attract many tourists from all across the world. It's a major centre of economic activities in Kochi, and it is also famous for the sunset. You can also take boating in Marine Drive.

Hill Palace

Hill Palace is located about 10km from Kochi in a place called Thripunithara. Hill Palace, built-in 1865, has the official residence of historical rulers. The palace complex consists of 49 buildings. Palace made in the traditional Kerala style of architecture has over 52 acres of terraced land around it.  Antique ceramics from the Far East, Kudakkallu  (tombstone), Thoppikkallu (hood stone), laterite memorials and wooden memorials from ancient civilisations like the Indus Valley and Harappa can found here. It even has a gallery housing contemporary art. It is our pride to have such value and significance placed here. Visiting Hours: 9:00 to 12:30 hrs &14:00 to 16:30 hrs on all days except Mondays.
