Alleppey | Kovalam | Thekkady

This tour package covers Thekkady, Alleppey, Kovalam and Trivandrum in 6 days. This tour covers approximately 1000km - Cochin to Cochin. It is recommended to book return from Trivandrum.

  • Day 1

    Cochin to Thekkady

    • Cochin to Thekkady drive will take 5 to 6 hrs and hence start accordingly from Cochin.
    • On the way, visit a few small waterfalls, enjoy scenic beauty en route, and visit Kalvari Mount.
    • Will reach Thekkady by evening and enjoy optional activities like Kathakali, Martial arts, Elephant ride, Elephant bath, and Ayurveda Massages depending on your interest.
    • Suggest boating at Periyar lake for the next day morning at 7.

    • During the boating, you can whatch Periyar wildlife sanctuary.
    • All activities have separate entrance fees.
  • Day 2

    Thekkady

    • When you have two nights at Thekkady, either relax or continue with the missed-out activities mentioned above.
    • You can even go for eco-tourism activities such as a full-day Gavi tour, trekking, Bamboo rafting, natural walking, Green walking, tiger trail, jungle patrol, etc (all are optional with separate entrance fees).
    • Overnight stay at Thekkady (Read our blog on Thekkady for more details).
  • Day 3

    Thekkady to Alleppey

    • Drive to a resort at Alleppey.
    • Visit Alleppey beach and can go shopping.
    • Enjoy the amenities in the resort for a day.
    • Overnight stay at the same resort.
  • Day 4

    Alleppey to Kovalam

    • The journey from Alleppey to Kovalam by road will take 4 to 7 hours depending upon the heaviness of traffic on the way.
    • Hence it is suggested to start sufficiently early from Alleppey to avoid heavy traffic conditions.
    • On reaching Kovalam, the renowned Kovalam Beach can be visited.
    • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Day 5

    Trivandrum/Kovalam

    • On this day, we can either go for Trivandrum city tour or spend time at Kovalam beach till evening.
    • Trivandrum sightseeing includes Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, Napier Museum, Sree Chithra Art Gallery, Zoological Park, Kanakakunnu Palace, Azhimala Temple and Planetarium.
    • Overnight stay at Kovalam.
    • Sree Padmanabha Temple opens from 5 am to 11 am and 3 pm to 6:30 pm.
    • Museum, Palace, Art gallery, Zoo, and Planetarium are closed on Mondays.
  • Day 6

    Kovalam to Trivandrum or Cochin drop

    • It is advisable to book a return flight or train from Trivandrum to save traveling time to Cochin.
    • For the Trivandrum drop, sightseeing continues at Trivandrum.
    • For the Cochin drop, drive back to cochin (7hrs).
    • Our representative will leave you at Cochin/Trivandrum Airport/Railway station/Bus stand and will extend necessary support there.
    • Drive back to your hometown with the sweet memories of the Kerala trip.
