Athirapilly | Kovalam | Munnar | Thekkady

This tour package covers Athirapilly vazhachal, Munnar, Thekkady, Kovalam and Trivandrum in 7days. The tour covers approximately 1200km in 7days

  • Day 1

    Cochin to Athirapally Vazhachal

    • Drive to Athirapally vazhachal.
    • Enjoy the beauty of this waterfall and stay at Athirapilly.
    • Visit to waterfalls is allowed only upto 4PM.
  • Day 2

    Athirapilly to Munnar

    • Athirapilli to Munnar is approximately a 6-7 hrs drive.
    • On the way, visit Cheyyapaara waterfalls, tea plantations, and spice gardens and reach Munnar by evening.
    • Check in to the hotel and enjoy the day.
  • Day 3

    Munnar

    • Suggest starting at 9 am for sightseeing with Eravikulam National park visit followed by Tea Museum.
    • Post lunch, we visit the Mattuppetty dam, Echo point, Kundala Lake, Viewpoints, Pothamedu view point and Botanical Garden.
    • Note: The Eravikulam National Park tickets can be booked in advance or at the counter.
    • The park is closed from Feb to April due to the breeding time of goats.
    • Tea Museum is closed on Monday.
  • Day 4

    Munnar to Thekkady

    • Suggest to start by 9am as Munnar to Thekkady will take 3-4 hours.
    • On reaching Thekkady, you may go for Periyar boating to see the Periyar wild life sanctuary (Tickets can be booked in advance or at the counter).
    • In the evening, you can go for optional activities like Kathakali, Elephant ride, Elephant bath, Musical fountain, and Ayurveda massages.
    • All the activities have separate entrance fees.
  • Day 5

    Thekkady to Kovalam

    • Sightseeing includes light house beach, Hawah Beach, and Ashoka beach.
    • Kovalam beaches have lovely coconut palms fringe the golden sand.
    • Overnight stay at Kovalam.
  • Day 6

    Trivandrum/Kovalam

    • On this day, we can either go on the Trivandrum city tour or can spend time at Kovalam beach till evening.
    • Trivandrum sightseeing includes Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace museum, Napier museum, Sree Chithra art gallery, Zoological park, Kanakakunnu Palace, Azhimala temple and Planetarium.
    • Overnight stay at Kovalam.
    • Temple opens from 5 am to 11 am and 3 pm to 6:30 pm.
    • Museum, Palace, Art gallery, Zoo, and Planetarium are closed on Monday.
  • Day 7

    Kovalam to Trivandrum or Cochin drop

    • It is advisable to book a return flight or train from Trivandrum to save traveling time to Cochin.
    • For the Trivandrum drop, sightseeing continues at Trivandrum.
    • For the Cochin drop, drive back to cochin (7hrs).
    • Our representative will leave you at Cochin/Trivandrum Airport/Railway station/Bus stand and will do the necessary support there.
    • Drive back to your hometown with the sweet memories of the Kerala trip with us.

Once you land in Kerala, you are our guest. We make arrangements for your pick-up. If you have selected rooms for freshening up, you will also get a complimentary breakfast. Then in our office, you will be given a brief idea about the itinerary. You can then proceed with your trip with a fresh mind.

Houseboat is an authentic product of Kerala. The basic houseboat starts with Deluxe, Luxury and Premium. Deluxe houseboats will have very basic amenities. For a better experience, you can ask the executive to give you a premium or luxury houseboat especially during the summer season.

Yes, our packages include pick up services from the airport/railway station or bus stop.

Kerala is considered an all-time destination with June to August being monsoon season and post monsoon is equally good.
