Houseboat | Kanyakumari | Kovalam | Munnar

This tour package covers Munnar, Alleppey Houseboat with 21hrs cruise, Kanyakumari, Kovalam and Trivandrum. It is ideal to book return from Trivandrum. The tour covers approximately 1200km in 7days (Cochin to Cochin)

  • Day 1

    Cochin to Munnar

    • Pick up from Cochin and drive to Munnar.
    • Visit Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, Tea Plantations and Spice Garden on the way.
    • Reaching Munnar, rest for the day at the hotel.

  • Day 2

    Munnar

    • Suggest starting at 9 am for visiting Eravikulam National park, followed by Tea Museum.
    • Post lunch, visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo point, Kundala Lake, Viewpoints, Pothamedu view point and Botanical Garden.
    • Note: The Eravikulam National Park tickets can be either booked in advance or purchased from the counter.
    • The park is closed from Feb to April due to the breeding time of Nilgiri Tahr.
    • Tea Museum is closed on Mondays.

  • Day 3

    Munnar to Alleppey Houseboat

    • Munnar to Alleppey drive will take a minimum of 5 hrs, and hence suggest leaving at 8 am to reach Alleppey by Noon.
    • Enjoy the backwaters, scenery, and village life for 21hrs in Kerala Style House boats from noon.
    • (Due to the long traveling time, you may not reach Alleppey by noon and need to do a late check-in or should skip breakfast and leave much early from Munnar, which will not be compensated).
    • Houseboat will be stopped for lunch for 1hrs with the cruise till 5:30 pm.
    • The boat will be anchored till the next day morning,with a 1-hour cruise in the morning for check out at 9 am.
    • There are different categories of houseboats available like Deluxe, Premium, and Luxury, where Deluxe is the basic boat.
    • In the houseboat, you will be greeted with a welcome drink, tea, snacks, mineral water, lunch, dinner, and breakfast.

  • Day 4

    Alleppey to Kanyakumari

    • Starting from Alleppey in the morning and drive to Kanyakumari.
    • As the travel from Alleppey to Kanyakumari requires a minimum of 9 hours by road, it is better to start latest by 8 AM.
    • Can watch sunset if reach Kanyakumari sufficient early (with less probability) and stay at Kanyakumari.

  • Day 5

    Kanyakumari to Kovalam

    • Watch sunrise/sunset (depending on climatic conditions), visit Kanyakumari temple and Vivekananda rock (8 am to 4 pm).
    • Drive to Kovalam in the afternoon and check in to the resort.
    • Visit Kovalam beach in the evening and overnight stay at Kovalam.

  • Day 6

    Trivandrum/Kovalam

    • On this day, we can either go for Trivandrum city tour or spend time at Kovalam beach till evening.
    • Trivandrum sightseeing includes Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, Napier Museum, Sree Chithra Art Gallery, Zoological Park, Kanakakunnu Palace, Azhimala Temple and Planetarium.
    • Overnight stay at Kovalam.
    • Sree Padmanabha Temple opens from 5 am to 11 am and 3 pm to 6:30 pm.
    • Museum, Palace, Art gallery, Zoo, and Planetarium are closed on Mondays.

  • Day 7

    Kovalam to Trivandrum or Cochin drop

    • It is advisable to book a return flight or train from Trivandrum to save traveling time to Cochin.
    • For the Trivandrum drop, sightseeing continues at Trivandrum.
    • For the Cochin drop, drive back to cochin (7hrs).
    • Our representative will leave you at Cochin/Trivandrum Airport/Railway station/Bus stand and will extend necessary support there.
    • Drive back to your hometown with the sweet memories of the Kerala trip.
